What is the process of the appointment at Speecchneest.in?
After receiving the inquiry we set up an initial Speech and Language Assessment and once completing the assessment procedure we proceed with the therapy sessions according to the need of the child.
Where do you conduct Speech Assessment or Speech Therapy sessions?
Currently, we work offline (Home visits) in Thane, Mulund and Powai (Mumbai-India) and Online through Google Meet.
Will Online sessions work for my child?
This can be evaluated during the assessment process. In our experience, online sessions do make difference as parents and caregivers themselves learn so much about the child and therapy strategies, making it a learning and enjoyable experience. In our understanding Child's natural environment is the most ideal place, to begin with.
How much duration does a session have?
· Offline Assessments up to 1hr.The therapy session is approximately 45 minutes.
Online Assessments and therapy sessions are approximately 45 mins.
How many sessions in a week is Therapy required? Presence of a parent or caregiver necessary during the session?
All decisions about therapy are made jointly with the parents/carers. The frequency of the therapy sessions is offered according to the individual’s needs and circumstances. To achieve the best results, we encourage parents and caregivers to actively participate in therapy if possible. Therefore, someone will need to be present to work with the therapist during all of the sessions. Occasionally, Therapists may work 1:1 with the individual for part of the session and spend the other part describing the aims and the detail of carryover activities. If required, joint sessions with other professionals (e.g. Educational Psychologists, Occupational therapists, etc) involved with your child may also be discussed and planned as appropriate.
Can my child be seen in his/her Educational set-up?
Visits can be made to your child in their educational setting by coordinating with parents and educational setup in order to:
• Observe how your child communicates in their setting as part of a detailed assessment.
• Demonstrate activities/train staff to support your child.
• Meet with you and staff to agree on a plan for supporting your child.
• Provide intervention for your child within their setting.
How payments can be made? Are fees refundable?
· All our services are pre-paid.
· Fees Should be made at the beginning of each consultation or unless otherwise agreed upon.
· Fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

In which languages services are available?
Sessions are available for Indian and overseas clients in Marathi, Hindi, and English Languages only.
TAKING DIGITAL RECORDINGS AND PHOTOGRAPHS WITHIN SESSIONS.
To help with the analysis of your child’s abilities, With your consent parts of the assessment sessions may be digitally recorded (visual and audio) to enable the therapist to carry out a more detailed analysis after the session. Photographs may also be taken during sessions which will be used to help illustrate activities within the session. The digital recordings also provide a historical record of your child’s progress and skills over time.
